Air Ventures
Air Ventures PDK - Instrument Rating

Now you can maintain and improve your instrument flying proficiency at both low cost and high quality. Our brand-new Elite PI-135 ATD (Aircraft Training Device) is FAA approved. For the prospective instrument student, it allows ten hours of your instrument training to be accomplished on the ground. The benefit to the student is to be able to concentrate completely on instrument flying and for his instructor to help the student visualize what he is doing correctly and what areas need to improve.

As a pilot who already possesses an instrument rating, you are required to perform six instrument approaches, track course and radials plus fly holding patters every six months. The Elite PI-135 ATD is FAA certified to allow you to log this instrument time and comply with this requirement.

To count towards proficiency requirements, all flight time on the PI-135 must be done under the supervision of an Instrument Flight Instructor.
