Air Ventures PDK - Private Pilot Course

Air Ventures PDK uses the Cessna 172 Skyhawk SP to prepare students for the Private Pilot's license. The 172SP is a very capable four-seater that allows you enjoy the thrill of learning. It is also available for rental and carrying passengers once you get your license.

The private pilot course consists of a minimum of 40 hours of flight training. At least 20 of these must be with an instructor. At least another 10 must be in solo flight. During your training you will become proficient in basic flying plus planning and executing cross-country trips, both in the daytime and at night.

We use the best training curriculum in the world: Jeppesen Private Pilot Online. Jeppesen not only makes the aeronautical charts used by most airlines and corporate flight departments, it is part of the world's largest aircraft manufacturer: Boeing. The Jeppesen curriculum allows you as a student to learn at your own pace online. This means you can learn from the comfort of your home, office or hotel room. Because the curriculum is integrated to show you both the theory and the maneuvers of flying you will learn in-flight, you learn faster, more efficiently and in less time. You can see a brief demonstration of the Jeppesen Private Pilot Online program here. Your Jeppesen Online course will prepare you for a written knowledge test administered by the FAA. After the knowledge test your instructor will prepare you for the FAA practical test and your first flight as a private pilot.
